For American guests staying at Herdade do Perú, the drive is approximately 15 minutes. Carpooling and having a designated driver is recommended.

The main gate at Herdade do Perú opens automatically when exiting the property. We will coordinate with the property manager to ensure the gate is open when guests return. If the gate is closed for any reason, please call Hélio, the property manager, at +351 934 191 316, and he will open it for you.

To get from your house to the main gate, please follow the directions in the Accommodations tab in reverse. When returning, follow those same directions from the main gate back to your house.

Herdade do Perú, Casa Grande

1. Arrive at the Main Gate:

Saturday, the day of the event, the main gate should be open. If for any reason it is closed, please call Hélio, the property manager, at +351 934 191 316, and he will open the gate for you.

2. Follow the signs to Casa Grande:

Once you're through, follow the signs that say "Todas as direções" (meaning "all directions") — keep going straight through each one — until you reach a sign for Herdade do Perú / Casa Grande next to another gate. This gate will be open on the day of the ceremony.

You'll see two tall pillars marking the entrance — drive through them onto the driveway leading up to the house. You'll be directed to take a right into the parking area. From there, simply walk into Casa Grande.

Sunday, August 30th

Portinho da Arrábida

2:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Portinho da Arrábida is a protected area by the ocean, and during the summer months, vehicle access to the bottom is restricted to residents only. We've arranged a tuk tuk service to take you down from where vehicle access is restricted to the lunch location — simply drive to the controlled gate, park nearby, and the tuk tuks will take you the rest of the way.

⚠️ This is peak summer season, and we expect parking around the controlled gate to be very busy. Please carpool whenever possible — the fewer cars we have, the easier it will be for everyone to find a spot.

Park wherever you can find a spot along the road. We’re also looking into a parking option just beyond the controlled gate and will share more details if it becomes available.

2. Tuk Tuk or Walk to the Lunch Location:

The tuk tuks will be waiting near the gate to take you down to lunch. Alternatively, it’s a pleasant 10-minute walk downhill to the lunch location.

Dress Code: Relaxed. Feel free to wear shorts or summer attire, and don't forget your swimsuit if you'd like to take a dip in the ocean. The water is refreshing - to say the least!
