We are so excited to celebrate with you in Portugal! Below are a few travel recommendations to help with your planning.

Flying to Lisbon

Fly into Humberto Delgado Airport (LIS). The venue, Herdade do Perú, is nestled in Azeitão, approximately 40 minutes south of Lisbon.

Most flights from the US depart in the evening and arrive in Lisbon between 8–11 am the following morning. We recommend booking an outbound flight on Thursday, August 27th, which should have you arriving in Lisbon on Friday, August 28th — giving you time to settle in before the festivities begin.

We recommend arriving on Friday the 28th — events begin Friday evening, and we'd love for you to have time to settle in and enjoy the property before the weekend gets going. Please plan to stay through Sunday the 30th, as we'll be hosting a casual farewell gathering that afternoon before everyone heads out Monday morning.

Getting from Lisbon to the Venue

We recommend one of two options depending on your travel style.

1. Rental Car: The most flexible and affordable option. Rentals are competitively priced, and having a car will make it easy to get around the property, attend events throughout the weekend, and ensure reliable transport back to Lisbon. Hertz, Enterprise, Avis, and others are available at LIS.

2. Car Service or Ride-Share: Uber and Bolt are plentiful in Lisbon, but become unreliable around the venue — especially late at night. If this is your plan, pre-book a confirmed car service for your return. Gold Limousine is a recommended option for transfers.

For guests joining us for the ceremony on Saturday, August 29th, the celebration will be hosted at Casa Grande, the main house at Herdade do Perú.

The venue is approximately 40 minutes south of Lisbon. We recommend driving or arranging a car service in advance.

Saturday, the day of the event, the main gate should be open. If for any reason it is closed, please call Hélio, the property manager, at +351 934 191 316, and he will open the gate for you.

2. Follow the signs to Casa Grande:

Once you're through, follow the signs that say "Todas as direções" (meaning "all directions") — keep going straight through each one — until you reach a sign for Herdade do Perú / Casa Grande next to another gate. This gate will be open on the day of the ceremony.

3. Arrive at Casa Grande (event location):

You'll see two tall pillars marking the entrance — drive through them onto the driveway leading up to the house. You'll be directed to take a right into the parking area. From there, simply walk into Casa Grande.

⚠️ If you're planning to get a ride-share back after the party — do not count on it. Ride-shares are not available around the venue late at night. Please arrange a car service or rental car before arriving.
